About Me

I am a middle-aged house spirit living on the West Coast of the US. I'm married to my best friend, and we enjoy geeking out about wonderful, horrible things together. I was born to geeks and thus raised in the ways of geekdom, but I wandered away from a lot of that for awhile and am getting back into it. I love comics, horror, sci-fi and some fantasy. I don't watch a lot of TV, but the shows and movies I do like, I really like. I've always been terrible at video games, but I'm trying new kinds of games to see what might work for me, since I haven't played anything very seriously since Brøderbund made games. (My sister and I played a lot of Karateka in our youth.) I also love shōjo manga, and Sailor Moon is a formative text in my life. I have strong opinions about music, cake frostings and coffee, and I cannot abide squeaky foods.

It's hand-coded. The blog is x-posted (sometimes with a few edits) from dreamwidth. I'm slowly working on making it more accessible, but that's something I'm still learning, since it's been years and years since I did this kind of thing. It's not optimized for mobile because mobile is not optimal.
